I tried learning Action Script once again, when I spoke to the recruiter at Adobe Booth during the Job Fair. She asked if I know Action Script. At that time I didn’t know that you can write Action Script in Flex and that Flex is for programmers where as Flash is more for Designers. So I tried to watch a few Flash tutorials on Youtube! I was stumped again! I don’t know somehow every body starts Flash tutoring with a small circle moving from one of the screen to the other end!! :O :O That very example scares me every time I watch it!!

I am taking the course ‘Internet Technologies’ this semester at CMU. My Professor introduced us to Adobe Flex, and gave us a home work to build a simple RSS Reader with Flex. With just a few lines of code I could build a decent RSS Reader and that made me happy! Finally, I am feeling I can now work with Flash (or make it work for me!! hehe!!)

Thus started my beautiful journey with Flex. Though its been just a few days, its been fascinating! I am trying to steal a few hours everyday to teach myself the much fascinating Flex and Flash (through Flex).
